Yorkshire Mediation

Main service: Mediation Services
Contact us

Yorkshire Mediation Services have over 30 years experience of delivering mediation and training mediators across the Yorkshire region.

The charity was formed in 2012 after Mediation Leeds (Est. 1988) and Mediation Yorkshire (Est. 2007), both long running charities covering the Leeds and Kirklees areas of West Yorkshire, ceased the work they had been doing. No organisation in Yorkshire has more combined experience.

Originally the services were developed to offer an alternative to the courts for neighbours in dispute who wished to address their differences in a constructive way and neighbour mediation still forms a significant part of the service, alongside workplace mediation and mediation training.

Since the pandemic started back in 2020, Yorkshire Mediation has been able to adapt quickly to ensure we were still providing a high level of service to people who required our mediation services.  We are very proud to say that we are able to offer Remote Mediation which has been received very successfully and we are pleased to say that going forward remote mediation will be available along with face to face mediation.

The charity is also pleased to offer mediation training packages in an online environment (depending on group size) as well as face to face training packages. Please contact our offices for further details.
